Sea Lapland is located by the Bothnian Bay, an area between Northern Osterbothnia and Sweden.

The Sea Lapland subregion includes the cities of Kemi and Tornio and the municipalities of Keminmaa, Tervola, and Simo. The population of Sea Lapland is about 61,000.
